The Neuromuscular Program at Stanford and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford (LPCH), is directed by John Day, MD, PhD. We pair cutting edge research with comprehensive, patient-centered care. The multidisciplinary clinics at both the children's hospital and Stanford are Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) sponsored clinics. Our team of neuromuscular specialists provide resources and support for the entire family.
Diagnoses seen at our clinics are (partial list): muscular dystrophies (Duchenne MD, Myotonic MD, Limb-Girdle MD (LGMD 2D, LGMD2i et.al.)), Facioscapulohumeral MD (FSH), congenital muscular dystrophy (Ullrich), motor neuron diseases (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, PLS)) and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA Type 1/2/3), Kennedy's disease, myopathies, mitochondrial conditions, myasthenia gravis, CMT, etc.
